Privacy Policy
For the mobile game Scrap Rocket (com.scraprocket.game), published by SENTRIO.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Summary
The game has no accounts, no sign-in, and no registration. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location, and we do not sell personal data. The data described below is collected automatically by the game and by the Google services it uses: to show optional rewarded ads, and to understand how the game is played so we can fix and balance it.
2. Advertising
The game is free and is funded by optional rewarded videos through Google AdMob. A video only plays when you tap an offer — for example a free boost, a free upgrade, doubled coins, or carrying on a run — and you never have to watch one to play.
To serve these ads, Google collects your device's advertising identifier (a resettable ID that is not tied to your real identity), along with technical information such as IP address (for an approximate location), device model, operating system version, and your interaction with the ads shown. Google may use this to show ads relevant to you, to measure ad performance, and to prevent fraud. Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can accept, refuse, or customise, and change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads); deleting it stops ads being personalised, it does not remove them.
3. Analytics and Game Settings
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is played, so we can see where it is too hard, too easy, or broken, and fix it. It records gameplay events against a randomly generated app instance identifier together with general device information (model, operating system, language, and country derived from the IP address). The events include:
- waves started and finished, how far a throw went and why it ended;
- upgrades bought, and coins and crystals earned and spent in the game;
- screens opened, settings and language changes;
- rewarded videos offered, watched, and completed;
- technical diagnostics: frame rate, app version, and error reports.
This data is not linked to your identity, is used in aggregate, and is kept for 14 months. The game also uses Firebase Remote Config to download game settings (for example how often a bonus appears) so we can tune the game or compare two versions of a setting without an update.
In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, analytics follow the choice you make in Google's consent form (Google Consent Mode): if you refuse storage, only aggregated measurements without identifiers are sent. Firebase's data handling is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security policy.
4. Game Progress
Your progress — coins, levels, the wave you have reached, your rides, and your settings (language, sound, music, vibration) — is stored only on your own device. It is not uploaded to us and not linked to any account. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in Android settings, permanently deletes it, and we have no way to restore it. The game works offline; no ads are loaded and no statistics are sent while you have no connection.
5. Feedback
If you use Settings → Feedback, the game opens your own email app with a message to us that has the game's version, the wave you are on, the language, and your phone model filled in. You see all of it and decide whether to send it. We use your email address only to reply to you and keep feedback emails only as long as needed to handle them.
6. Permissions
The game uses the Internet and network state permissions (to load ads and send statistics), the advertising ID permission (used by the ads and analytics SDKs), and vibrate (haptic feedback, which can be turned off in Settings). Google's SDKs also declare a few permissions for their own background work. The game does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.
7. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live — including under GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because the game holds no account, the most direct controls are the consent choices in Settings → Privacy, the advertising ID settings described in section 2, and uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data. For anything further, write to us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the game changes. Any update will be posted on this page with a revised date above. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
