Privacy Policy
For the mobile game 2 Pics 1 Word - Word Puzzle (com.tactile.two_pic_one_word), published by SENTRIO.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Summary
The game has no accounts, no sign-in, and no registration. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and we do not sell personal data. The data described below is collected automatically by the game and by the third-party services it uses, primarily to show advertising and to understand how the game is played.
2. Advertising
The game is free and is funded by advertising through Google AdMob. Ads appear in three places: a full-screen ad after finishing a level, an ad when you return to the game, and optional videos you can choose to watch in exchange for a free hint. The optional videos are never forced — you only see one if you tap to start it.
To serve these ads, Google collects your device's advertising identifier (a resettable ID that is not tied to your real identity), along with technical information such as IP address, device model, operating system version, and general interaction with the ads shown. Google may use this to show ads relevant to you and to measure ad performance. Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.
You can limit this at any time from your device settings. On Android, open Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset the advertising ID or delete it entirely. Deleting it stops ads being personalised; it does not remove ads.
3. Analytics
The game uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how it is played — for example which levels are completed, where players get stuck, and which hints are used. This is collected against a randomly generated app instance identifier together with general device and country information. It is not linked to your identity, and we use it in aggregate to improve the puzzles and difficulty. Firebase's data handling is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security policy.
4. Game Progress
Your progress — the level you have reached, your coins, hints, streak, and settings — is stored only on your own device. It is not uploaded to us and not linked to any account. Uninstalling the game permanently deletes it, and we have no way to restore it.
Puzzle content and images are downloaded from our servers and content delivery network as you play. Like any internet request, this involves your device's IP address reaching those servers; it is used to deliver the content and for routine security logging, not to build a profile of you.
5. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live — including under GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because the game holds no account, the most direct controls are the advertising ID settings described in section 2 and uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data. For anything further, write to us.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the game changes. Any update will be posted on this page with a revised date above. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
